The Montreal student chapter of the Canadian Biomaterial Society is hosting the Biomaterials Research Day on February 23, 2017 at the Centre de Recherche CHUM. Admittance is free for academic participants.
Members of the scientific community are invited to share their experiences in science and business. Sessions will cover drug delivery, entrepreneurship, tissue engineering, and medical devices.
Of particular interest is keynote speaker Professor John Oh (Concordia University) who will discuss nanomedicine-enhanced drug delivery to tumors. Additionally, for those interested in start-ups, the fourth session will feature a presenter from Health Canada and expert in patents.
The Montreal Chapter of the Canadian Biomaterials Society is an incorporated, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development of biomaterials science, technology, and education in Canadian universities, industry, and government.
