Date: Tuesday, January 31st, 6-8PM
Location: Bellini Atrium, Life Sciences
The McGill Journal of Medicine (MJM) would like to invite you to join us for a discussion on Primary Care. To date we have collected a diverse sample of articles but we would like to promote this year’s special issue, keep the conversation going and hopefully inspire further submissions from students before the February 15th deadline. We are accepting research in family medicine, reviews on primary care, commentaries and much more.
We will have the privilege of hearing Dr. Howard Bergman (Chair of the Family Medicine Department) and Dr. Daniel Weinstock (Director of the Institute for Health and Social Policy) talk briefly about what primary care means, the current policy landscape, the future of primary care in Quebec and the role of medical and graduate students.
Over the last two years the MJM has been re-launched with renewed goals, editorial policies and governance structure. Another big change has been our move to a primarily online publication. However, thanks to the support from the McGill Family Medicine Department we can also publish a limited number of issues in print in addition to the online publication this spring.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org at any time to see if your submission fits the scope of our special issue or for any further questions.
We accept articles on any medical topic at any time, this call for primary care articles is in addition to other submissions.
Hope to see you there!
